It struck me that I felt like I had come home when your picture of the sky greeted me in your visual arts section. I have always loved the sky, and often look up to “swallow the sky” when I feel overwhelmed down here on earth.

I have always loved cemeteries. I used to live next to a lovely cemetery and spent many an afternoon walking amongst the graves. It was a beautiful old cemetery with distinguished members of society buried there, and a memorial area to soldiers from the civil war. I was pleasantly surprised to find this cemetery section in your art section.

I was intrigued by your “Walking Through the Woods.” Reminds me of EMDR. How you captured a log that looks like a leg with a shadow, I will never know but the picture makes me feel like I would like to be there.

The photo of the pipes on the side of the house is excellent. I love the balance and contrast. Sometimes simple or abstract things make the best subjects.
